2024 EventsHOA Board of Director Meetings - all homeowners are invited to attend any meeting to discuss concerns or volunteer to assist on HOA Committees.
If you wish to address concerns to the BOD at the meeting - you must contact President Steve Sullins or Secretary Dud Fagan at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. [email protected] or [email protected] Please note that all Clift's Cove Clubhouse Campus Facilities are only open from 6 AM to 10 PM (pool in season) including Clift Park, the tennis court, fitness center, playground, and parking lot.
Saturday, March 30, 2024 - Kids Easter Egg Hunt - 3 to 5 PM Clubhouse. 4 grand prizes for the Easter Egg Hunt, food, bouncy house, balloon artist, face painter, Easter Bunny, and actual bunnies will be there for kids to pet!
Saturday April 6, 2024 - Clift's Cove Spring Community Yard Sale - at individual residences from 8 AM to 2 PM
Saturday April 13, 2024 - Pool Season Opens (weather dependent)
Saturday, April 27, 2024 - Spring Adult Social - 6:30 PM at Clubhouse - Burgers and Buffett...Jimmy Buffett that is. Entertainment from a local band "The Zooks" and some fun prizes.
PLEASE RSVP to: [email protected] 1 May - Tennis Court Re-surfacing is complete and now open for play. The Court has a new cork under surface and has two Pickleball court lines added to the tennis court. Ensure you follow new court rules of use:
This court is for racket sports only - No skating, skateboarding, basketball, cycling, or any other activities allowed. Hours of operation are from 6 AM to 10 PM Daily. Use is restricted to Clift's Cove residents and their guests only via key card entrance. First Come, First Served. Court reservations are not permitted. After play of one hour, the court(s) must be relinquished to others waiting to play. Please roll the mobile pickleball nets to the side fencing when play is complete. Please report any misuse of the court or equipment to Hughes Properties II. Court is under 24 hour video surveillance. Monday, Memorial Day May 27, 2024 - Community BBQ
Clift's Cove will be kicking off the summer at the pool with a BBQ of hot dogs, drinks, and a Patriot Themed ice cream for residents on Memorial Day from 12 to 2 PM. Still need a few (2) more volunteers to help set-up, serve food, and clean-up. Contact Travis Doyle at [email protected] to help. July 15 to 19, 2024 - Bob Jones Students Fishing Camp
the Board has approved this event to allow fishing in Jack's Lake only on those dates for non-resident students participating in this school sponsored event. Saturday, August 3, 2024 - Kids Back to School Splash Party - Clubhouse / Pool: Due to no volunteers - Travis Doyle will host the party without entertainment just:
12:30-1:30 PM: Pizza for the community 12:00-3:00 PM: Water bouncy house with music Saturday, September 21, 2024 - Fall Adult Social - 6:30 PM at the Clubhouse - This party is a James Bond 007 theme. Dress your BEST (bonus points if you wear a tuxedo), and drive your fanciest car. Please RSVP by September 16th to [email protected]. A vegetarian option is available upon request.

Saturday, October 26, 2024 - Kids Halloween Party - 3 to 5 PM - Clubhouse - Face painters, bouncy house, food, and a Costume Contest! So dress up and get ready to have a spooky good time. Additional volunteers needed to run activity stations.

Friday November (TBD), 2024 - Two Men and a Truck Pick-up day for the Downtown Rescue Mission Thanksgiving Dinner Box donations. Have your boxes with food on your front porch by 8:00 AM
Wednesday November 27, 2024 - Deadline for HOA members to electronically vote for open BOD positions for 2025. 75 votes required to validate the voting. One vote per Member household. Vote on Hughes Properties website at: https://hughesprop.cincwebaxis.com

HOA Annual General Meeting 5:30 PM at the Clubhouse This is your prime opportunity to participate in the management of your Association. Please consider attending and voicing your concerns, comments, & recommendations. If you are unable to attend the meeting - please forward your comments, issues, and concerns to Steve Sullins via email, or text ([email protected]), or call Steve at (256) 655-7272) and he will address concerns at the meeting. All homeowners are invited to attend any Board of Directors meeting during the year on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM in the Clubhouse. The Board always welcomes visitors and their comments. Saturday, December 7, 2024 - Kids Holiday Crafts Party - 3 to 5 PM – Clubhouse. A special visit from Santa, Pizza, and Hot Chocolate, with many arts and crafts. Volunteers needed to manage events - contact Travis Doyle at [email protected]
