President's Welcome Letter
Welcome new residents of the Clift’s Cove Community:
My name is Steve Sullins and I am President of the Board of Directors of the Clift’s Cove Homeowners Association (HOA) and I hope to get to meet you in person soon. Our HOA is committed to a “friends and neighbors” service leadership approach that provides excellent financial management, optimizes the growth of investment value in our homes, and provides recreation and social opportunities for our residents. Our HOA contracts with Hughes Properties (contact information below) to provide our day to day administrative services. Kristen Wickham is our point of contact at Hughes and can assist you with any questions. You must pick up your electronic key card from Hughes Properties in person. The card will allow you access to the Exercise Room in the Clubhouse, Tennis & pickleball Courts, and the Pool (in season). Our Clift’s Cove website has a wealth of information about the Community, our Annual Events, our Protective Covenants, and the forms you will need to seek rental of the pool or clubhouse for parties; or Architectural Review Approval Forms for property modifications or new builds. Frequently asked questions are answered on the FAQ/Postings page. Association yearly budget and minutes of monthly Board Meetings are posted on the Minutes page. To gain access to the restricted residents section (Secure Landing page) of the site – on the Home page, register as a new resident and receive an e-mail that you have been approved as a member. A Community Directory is on the restricted side of the website. You have the option to restrict your contact information from being listed here by telling Hughes Properties of this desire. We will not sell or release this information to others without your further approval. To ensure your information is correct please provide Hughes Properties the following: Property Street Address; Owners Names; Phone Number; and E-mail address. If you lease or rent the owned property to another party – please provide their similar details. The Board encourages you to participate in the Clift’s Cove Blvd Neighborhood on the smart phone application, Nextdoor.com. To join this neighborhood, download the Nextdoor.com application onto your smart phone or tablet (or go to their website on your computer) and enter your address. You can elect to post and receive notices of local security threats, community events, lost or found pets, recommendations for local tradesmen or services, and so forth. The Board of Directors is composed of 9 volunteer elected homeowners who serve staggered two-year terms. We actively seek volunteers each year in the October time frame and would welcome your participation in assisting our action committees that include Architecture Review, Finance, Landscape, Maintenance, Recreation, Security, and Social. We especially need volunteers for the Kids seasonal activities and Events. Our Annual Association General Meeting occurs in December of each year and we encourage you to attend and participate in the governance of your new community. Enjoy the Community and your neighbors and feel free to contact any member of the Board or Hughes Properties with any questions or concerns. We are here to help. |
