Neighborhood Watch
In the event of a crime or emergency, please dial 911
The Local Madison City Police, and the Madison County Sherriff’s Department support Community Neighborhood Watch programs.
The Neighborhood Watch Program enlists the active participation of citizens in cooperation with the Madison Police Department to reduce crime within our neighborhoods. Each Neighborhood Watch elects a Block Captain who coordinates information in their neighborhood and acts as a liaison with the Police Department.
The Neighborhood Watch Program encourages neighbors to get to know each other and to protect themselves from criminal activity.
Clift’s Cove Neighborhood Watch program is in place with Madison City Police Department.
Clift’s Cove HOA Security Committee Chairman is Reamer Argo ([email protected]).
The Clift’s Cove Neighborhood Watch Block Captain is Dudley Fagan ([email protected])
Each street within Clift’s Cove Community needs a Block Lieutenant (some longer streets – like Veranda Drive - need more than one Lieutenant) to help collect and disseminate security information. Volunteers should contact Dudley Fagan via his e-mail address above.
The introduction of the Nextdoor.com smart phone application makes Community Security information dissemination easier and quicker to those participating with the Nextdoor.com application. If you are not participating on this application – please register your address on the Nextdoor.com site and join the CliftsCoveBlvd Neighborhood to receive Clift’s Cove HOA, Madison City Police and Madison County Sherriff’s Office security (and other) alerts.
Remember that the success of Neighborhood Watch Programs depends upon residents being vigilant and active in:
Prime Importance to success is the issue of NEVER Personally Engaging Someone
- Let the Police do their job
